For context: Josh McDaniels was hired by the Broncos in 2009. I was on the roster & home for the off-season. My parents' landline got a voice mail from the Broncos saying that I'd been cut. I called McDaniels for an explanation. His assistant said he'd call me back. He never did.

Let’s face it, guys, Kareem Jackson is being suspended again because he HITS TOO HARD. That’s it. He hits too hard for today’s NFL. That’s an unfathomable sentence, but it’s true. There’s no room for hard hitters anymore. Sad day for pro football.

How many Heisman Trophy winners have their degrees? Shoot, how many NFL players have them? The answer is: not enough. This shows what a special young man Travis Hunter is. Something tells me this football thing is going to work out for him, but if not, he'll be just fine.
Former Colorado standout and No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter is graduating today.

Courtland Sutton & Garett Bolles, two captains of the AFC West’s lone first place team, the Denver Broncos, embrace on the field after this bananas win versus the Giants. David Copperfield must have been in attendance today cuz that was some Mile High Magic.

Russell Wilson benching shows more about Sean Payton than Wilson. Russ's 2023 numbers on pace to best his rookie season (2012), when Seahawks went 11-5 and Wilson went to a Pro Bowl. Its not that you can't win with Russell, its that Payton would prefer not to.

Welp! My time at 104.3 The Fan has come to an end, guys. I enjoyed every minute of it and appreciate the hard work of my colleagues and all of you who rocked with us on The Players Club. It was fun, and now it’s done. Much love. Go Broncos!

BRONCOS STADIUM NEWS: Sorry Lone Tree, it’s going to be Burnham Yard. Retractable roof, privately funded, no new taxes, slated to open in 2031. Incredible news: the Broncos are staying in downtown Denver, right where they belong. Congrats to the Walton-Penner family.

Clearly folks have strong feelings about Vic Fangio, but let’s show him some grace on what is a very hard day for him & his family. Everyone at Dove Valley, upstairs & downstairs, has nothing but good things to say about Vic. In the end, it’s the relationships that really matter.

Guys, we have to talk about @PFF. Eagles CB Cooper DeJean is a baller, no doubt, but they have him as the highest graded corner in the NFL. As in, #1. Ahead of DPOY Pat Surtain II. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

BREAKING: Vic Fangio has chosen his starting quarterback. “We’re going with Drew Bridgewater. If he can’t get it done, Teddy Lock will be ready to go.”

Here’s a novel idea: don’t trade the heartbeat of your Top-5 defense. Keep Bradley Chubb on the Denver Broncos.

George Paton was arguably the most desirable candidate on the market. Some believed this was the least desirable job in the NFL & the Broncos would be left with the scraps. George Paton proved otherwise. Despite recent struggles, the Denver Broncos are still the gold standard.

Baffles me the disrespect being leveled at Blake Bortles by Broncos Country. You guys realize he is here to help, right? When your house is burning, be kind to the firemen.
