Herd the news?! There's a new resident at the Zoo! 🐮
Meet Hamish, our newest (and fluffiest) addition to the Historic Farm—a Scottish Highland calf! At almost 7 weeks old, he’s already moo-ving at top speed with some serious zoomies on his first day out. 💨
When you're smol but fierce! 🐆
P.S. Don’t worry, you’re not missing any sound - her ‘hisses’ were completely silent! We’ll definitely share it when she’s making noise!
Hakuna Matata, our aardwolf duo finally have names: Shenzi and Ed! 🐾
Shenzi is the larger, lighter aardwolf, while Ed is smaller with a distinctive V-shaped marking between his eyes. See if you can tell them apart on your visit!
Alert the paw-parrazi! 🐾
We're excited to announce the birth of a female clouded leopard cub born on February 25, 2025! She’s being hand-reared by our veterinary team and can be seen in the nursery at the Veterinary Center with daily feedings at 11 am and 3 pm!
SPLISH SPLASH, NEO! 💦 As if Neo couldn't get more extra, she now has her very own splash pad! Join us on Facebook Live today at 1:30 pm (CT) for some very special (and likely spazzy 🤪) Neo playtime and learn more about our 2-month-old cassowary chick.
Gemma’s trying her best to redecorate 😹
P.S. We are open on Labor Day, so be sure to visit and see all the clouded leopard cubs at the Veterinary Center!
Paws and watch our tiger cubs' latest routine check-up with our veterinary team! The cubs are doing great and all weighed in around 6 lbs this week!
The cubs are three weeks old and will continue to nurse and bond with mom in the privacy of their indoor den. 💛
