- UPDATE: Piedmont has secured the leak by shutting off the affected line. NFD crews are checking buildings and restarting HVAC systems to ensure there are no remaining fumes. Once safety checks are complete, evacuated buildings will be re-opened for occupancy.
- Replying to @NashvilleFDPiedmont is on scene working to locate and stop the leak. Motorists should expect heavy congestion in the area and are encouraged to seek an alternate route. No injuries have been reported.
- NFD crews are on scene of a major gas leak caused by a construction crew striking a gas line at 210 10th Ave N. The construction site and a nearby YMCA have been evacuated as a precaution. The situation is currently contained, and crews continue to monitor conditions.
