    One week ago, first night of the GOP Convention, many of my GOP state senate colleagues watched the convention together, w/out distancing and w/out masks. Tuesday Sen Brian Jones tested positive for COVID, requiring the rest, as per public health guidelines, to be quarantined.

    Great news!! The CA Assembly just voted unanimously, 69-0, to approve #Caleg #SB118, which will allow UC Berkeley to reinstate its fall enrollment plans so that 2,600+ students can attend one of the world's premiere universities.

    Fact check: Los Altos Mayor Eng said @Scott_Wiener's #SB50 (I'm coauthor) would "Manhattanize" CA. SB 50 allows 4 to 5 story buildings. NYC has thousands of buildings over 10 stories & hundreds that are 40 stories & higher. Photo illustrates the difference. #TheMoreYouKnow
