Just a small sample of the casual #racism I sometimes cop as an Arab Australian journalist 🤌🏽 Notice how polite I was to him before he declared immigrants are the root of all problems. I was covering a hit and run by the way…but I guess the culprit is always “immigrants”.

I just spoke with a man in #Gaza His 10-year-old was killed in front of him while they made breakfast in their kitchen. He can't bury him, because IDF tanks invaded his neighbourhood. So he sits with his son's corpse in an empty unit, hoping for the courage to bury him tomorrow

You’d think he had bigger fish to fry…idk maybe…catch and on the loose murder suspect connected to the killing of a 31 year old woman just this Sunday. Nah big man got racist jokes… because I look Arab. I somehow doubt he’d have made that same joke to any of my colleagues.
