USC Columbia - I’m ready for you. My legacy will land in the intersections of Education, Advocacy, and Communications callings—so I’m happy, starting Spring 2026 I’ll be furthering my journey. Purpose always comes full circle when deeply aligned.

I hope high achieving black women out there managing daily anxiety know they’re doing the best they can.

Finally settled in at home & the anxiety of what I encountered this week smacks me. Mostly because I'm finally safe and away from a predator. But also... this shit has to be talked about because it's not okay, and I'm tired of the stories. Mine included. Peep this 🧵:

Painting, learning new cooking skills, working out (weightlifting, yoga, etc.), dance classes, travel, music/art/culture festivals, decorating (interior), reading, visiting friends & their children. Soon: archery, sculpting, horseback riding, gardening, etc

Your craft is not slept on, people legit don’t know who you are or what you do. Primarily because you don’t network and tell everyone you meet about your artistry.

I like when others feel safe enough to be their full, quirky self with me.

I need to let it be known that "SEO King" Shameen Yakubu is a dangerous man who has impulse issues that I doubt could be corrected in this lifetime. I've already talked to who I need to about this so I'm safe in my circles of influence, but publicly, watch that man.

My final takeaway from this, ladies always protect yourself by using your voice. It is your most powerful asset. Abusers are manipulative & there aren't always the clearest SIGNS but they eventually they ALWAYS slip up and reveal their hand. Speak out against them. Always.

When people like Shameen feel they have a sense of power or control of status & within circles of influence, they do scary shit like I'm going to share with no remorse. This was my 1st tech con. & it won't be my last, but imagine the girls that aren't as strong as me?

I don’t get along well with conflict avoidant people. There’s nothing bad about conflict when healthy communication, mutual respect, emotional intelligence, and honesty is present
