- ⚠️SCAM ALERT⚠️ If you receive a suspicious phone call claiming to be from your bank, hang up immediately. Scammers can spoof phone numbers to make it appear legitimate.
- Recently, our officers had the opportunity to speak with students at one of our local high schools. 🏫 The presentation focused on the everyday life of a police officer 👮-from the journey joining law enforcement, to life on and off duty.
- 📭Be cautious when leaving outgoing mail in your mailbox, especially overnight. Mailbox fishing is a common tactic thieves use to steal checks and sensitive information. ✉️
- Protect your vehicle and avoid becoming a victim. Follow these steps below:
- Protect your benefits! Secure your EBT card, freeze it when not in use, and stay alert for scams. Don't become a victim-stay one step ahead. 🪪⚠️
- If you get a text saying "Enforcement Action Initiated," it’s a SCAM! ❌ Do not click ❌ Do not scan ❌ Do not pay Report and block the sender.
