This whole thing played out in plain sight. Anyone paying close attention knew the Cuomo administration was low-balling its nursing home death count, knew the July report was a travesty, knew Cuomo was B.S.-ing about NY's death toll being 46th, knew he was violating FOIL.
Cuomo didn't need to be more aggressive in calling out misinformation. He needed to stop aggressively spreading misinformation -- and start sharing public records.
The Cuomo administration's much-debated March 25 advisory, compelling nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients, was pushed by Kenneth Raske of the Greater New York Hospital Association, reports @WSJ.
