We are so saddened by the passing of our friend Ray Liotta. He was a huge supporter of ACC and spent hours at the shelter playing with the dogs and meeting staff. Here he is filming a PSA promoting pet adoption. Forever in our hearts. #RayLiotta

We are full. The line to surrender continues to outpace the line to adopt. When shelters are full stress levels are high and immunity levels are low. Please share our pets so they can be seen nycacc.app!

During blizzard conditions it’s imperative to keep an eye out for our own pets and for those of our community. If you see a pet outside, please call 911 right away. ACC remains open, however transport will only be considered in emergency situations. (212) 788-4000. #nycacc

Yesterday, Officer Cespedes of the @nypd came to Brooklyn ACC with a three-week-old kitten who was dropped off at the 73rd Precinct. ACC Staff were ready to begin our standard intake procedure when Officer Cespedes let them know that he wanted to foster the kitten! #nycacc #nypd
