- A special weather statement has been issued for Duluth MN, Brainerd MN and Cloquet MN until 8:00 PM CDT
- A special weather statement has been issued for Cloquet MN, Virginia MN and Eveleth MN until 6:30 PM CDT
- Gusty southwest to northwest winds are expected over Western Lake Superior Friday and through the weekend, which may lead to some waves of 2-4 feet at times, particularly for portions of the North Shore and Outer Apostle Islands. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed.
- Some additional scattered showers and occasional non-severe thunderstorm are possible through Saturday morning. Expect relatively cooler temperatures with breezy west to northwest winds through the weekend.
- Trending much less humid and seasonable to even slightly below normal for temperatures today through this weekend. Expect rain showers with a few embedded storms today, and isolated showers/storms on Friday. Mainly drier conditions this weekend. Expect breezy conditions each day.
- We are looking for storm reports from storms that moved through the Northland on Wednesday. If you have any reports of large hail, wind damage, or flooding, please share them with us. Let us know what you saw, when it happened, and your location. Pictures are appreciated!

- 8:41 PM Update: Attention turns towards a storm just east of Ladysmith, WI. Potential for half inch hail and up to 40 mph gusts as it moves east into southern Price County in about 20 minutes.
