- You've no doubt seen all the scary pictures about an area of low pressure expected to move into the southern gulf late this week into this weekend. The reality is this disturbance is not expected to develop into anything organized before moving into eastern Mexico.
- The weather will be hot this week with temperatures in the low to mid 90s with heat index values above 100.
- The typical afternoon pop up thunderstorms will develop Tuesday and Wednesday between noon and 6 PM. Will it rain at your house? Maybe. Maybe not. That's how we roll this time of year.
- ***UPDATE*** Another round of heavy rain is expected today with a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 4) for flash flooding across central Louisiana and parts of southeast Texas. As we move into next week rain chances will drop off but temperatures will rise into the 90s.
