Weather continues to be seasonably muggy across the Florida Keys. Rain/thunder chances will remain elevated today, but lower rain chances ensue tonight. Lower rain chances expected to last through early next week. Heat indices will start to approach near 100F each afternoon.

- Rain and t'storm chances are on track to peak this Wednesday. Gentle to moderate breezes will persist through tonight but are expected to slacken to light to gentle late this week. Heat risk is expected to be the primary concern for the latter half of the week.
- Several waterspouts have been reported just north of the Lower Keys over the past half hour. Conditions will remain favorable for waterspout formation associated with an island cloud line over the next hour. #KeyWest #FLwx #FloridaKeys
GIF - Gentle to moderate E to SE breezes are on track to continue through the middle of the week. Expect winds to slacken before the weekend. Rain chances are peaking on Wednesday ahead of a drying trend late in the week.
- We have received multiple reports in the #FloridaKeys of ground shaking associated with a potential earthquake. The United States Geological Survey did indeed sample a 6.4 magnitude earthquake around 65 miles WNW of Mantua, Cuba. There is no tsunami threat from this earthquake.
- Here is a Five Day Outlook for the Florida Keys. Expect a muggy week along the island chain. Daily highs are near normal, but overnight lows are warmer than average. Expect an increase in rain chances starting Tuesday to Wednesday. Breezes are on track to slacken late this week.
- The workweek will start off fairly normal for the Florida Keys, but an increase in moisture after Tuesday will lead to better rain chances! Don't worry, rainfall amounts don't look close to what we saw at the end of last week, but our eyes are on the second half of the week!
