A drier and seasonable airmass will settle into the region today into Saturday. A cold front will bring a chance for precipitation Sunday and lead to cooler temperatures heading into next week.

- [10:55 PM] The line of storms will be close to the Ohio/Indiana state line within the hour. Damaging winds will be the primary threat with this activity. Some weakening is expected through the next several hours, but gusty/damaging winds will still be possible through 3 AM.

- [8:25 PM] We are carefully monitoring the approach of the storms upstream from IL/IN. We expect that, despite a gradual weakening as they move into the local area, that strong/severe wind will still be possible, esp. in EC IN and WC OH around midnight. More updates to follow.
- We are starting to see some thunderstorms form along and southeast of I-71 this afternoon near the Columbus metro. Storm coverage may expand a bit further southwest as the afternoon progresses. Gusty winds and heavy rain are expected in the strongest storms.
