- Widespread showers and thunderstorms are forecast from Sunday into Monday as a cold front pushes through. A few strong to severe storms are possible with a threat for strong downburst wind gusts. Plan for possible disruptions to outdoor activities during this time period.
- A weak front will approach the area late tonight into Friday which will bring scattered thunderstorms to parts of North Texas overnight through Friday afternoon. Gusty downburst winds and frequent lightning are possible.
- Another hot and humid afternoon is in store today with low storm chances (~10%) in parts of Central Texas. Take precautions from the heat if spending an extended amount of time outdoors.
- Expect a mild, breezy night across North and Central Texas with clouds rolling in from south to north by sunrise. Winds will be from the south at 10-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph. Isolated showers in eastern Central TX will end around 7pm. Otherwise, no precip is expected.
- An active weekend weather wise appears increasingly likely for those of us in North Texas. What will start out as hot and muggy on Saturday will give way to a potentially stormy night Sunday Night. We are currently monitoring the potential for strong to severe storms.
- Storm chances will increase for portions of North Texas for the end of this work week with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible north of I-20 Thursday Night into Friday. Temperatures will remain near or slightly above normal with highs in the low and mid-90s.
- Typical June weather continues for those of us in North and Central Texas with temperatures near average and a low chance (10-20%) for isolated showers and thunderstorms across portions of East Texas and the Brazos Valley.
- Chances for thunderstorms will steadily increase this weekend into early next week while hot and humid weather continues. Plan for occasional disruptions to outdoor activities due to thunderstorms, especially Sunday and Monday.
- A weak cold front will approach the Red River late Thursday night. This will bring chances for scattered thunderstorms to much of North Texas from late Thursday into Friday. A few strong storms capable of strong wind gusts and frequent lightning are possible.
- Summertime heat continues today with highs in the mid 90s and heat index values up to 105. There's a 10-20% chance for showers and storms across Central Texas, mainly in the afternoon. Tonight's lows will only fall into the mid and upper 70s.
