- The National Hurricane Center has highlighted an area over the western Gulf with 20% of development in the next 7 days. While the chances for development remains low, rain chances increase across the Texas coast through next week.
- Low to moderate chances for daily showers and thunderstorms through mid-week next week with high chances Monday and Tuesday. Highs range from the mid- to upper 80s along the coast to the mid 90s inland. Lows remain generally in the mid 70s to low 80s.
- Partly cloudy skies tonight will accompany lows in the mid 70s inland and low 80s along the coast. Southeast winds will be between 10-20 MPH decreasing to 5-10 MPH overnight.
- Be aware of current conditions and rip currents. Swim where there are lifeguards and never swim alone. Remain hydrated and use sunscreen. Be aware of the weather. If you hear thunder, go immediately to an enclosed building or hard-topped vehicle.
- Partly cloudy conditions at area beaches this weekend with low to moderate chance of showers/thunderstorms. There's a moderate to high risk of Rip Currents. Be sure to use caution if at any of the beaches. Remember if caught in a rip current, wave, yell, and swim parallel.
- There's a 20-30% chance for isolated showers and storms over portions of the northern Coastal Plains today. Partly cloudy skies this afternoon will accompany highs in the 80s and 90s. Southeast winds around 10-15 mph this afternoon.

- Partly cloudy skies tonight will accompany lows in the mid to upper 70s inland and low 80s along the coast. Southeast winds will be between 10-20 MPH.
