- [Heat and Humidity Peaks Thu/Fri away from the coast] The heat and humidity will peak Thu into Fri away from the coast with mainly an afternoon/evening isolated thunderstorm risk...but nothing widespread expected. Warm temps continue this weekend but with relief in the humidity.

- UPDATE 10:45pm: Storm structure continues to diminish as they enter a less favorable environment. Nevertheless, there is still a fair amount of lightning with a cluster of storms over the Providence Metro.
