00:00 - We don’t fly a noisy helicopter for fun. We DO fly a noisy helicopter to save lives, catch criminals, take guns off the streets (list could continue)….. If we are flying, please just assume it is for a VERY good reason. Just when you thought you’d heard it all …… 👇"You've called a life and death emergency line to say a helicopter has woken you up." This call to 999 was about the noise being generated by a police helicopter. They were searching for a missing women who was later found with serious injuries to her arms. #ThinkBeforeYouDial

- Late last night crew responded to a person seen entering the #RiverThames. Casualty quickly located by us, @MPSonthewater marine units guided in & recovered from the water … just in time. Yes, our 🚁 is noisy, and we occasionally disturb people … but it saves lives.
