00:00 - This morning we held a minute's silence in memory of Staff Nurse Estrella Catalan. Our CEO @SamHigginson12 said a few words in the presence of staff from across the Trust as well as Estrella's family before the silence followed by a minute of clapping.
00:00 - Our staff gave a guard of honour for Sean Hunte as he left Docking Ward this afternoon after more than 200 days at NNUH with serious Covid-19 complications. Everyone at the Trust wishes you all the best with your ongoing rehabilitation at home.
00:00 - 💙We'd like to start today with some thank yous. The first has to be a huge thank you to our staff - their hard work, dedication and resilience during this time is admirable to all.
- 🙌 We are pleased to announce that thanks to our hardworking and dedicated vaccination team we have now given over half of our staff their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
- 🏳️🌈 We're proud to be the first Trust in the region to create a Rainbow Pride pathway which was completed today, in advance of our Norwich Pride celebrations on 30 July, as a visual symbol of inclusion.
- Today is a momentous day as our team of vaccinators has started to administer the Covid-19 vaccination to the most vulnerable people in our communities as part of the biggest vaccination programme the NHS has ever undertaken.
