- Navi Mumbai declared third cleanest city in India in Swachh Survekshan 2020! This has been possible due to the efforts and active participation of Navi Mumbaikars. Now it’s time to pledge to the highest standards of sanitation and aim to be the cleanest city in India.
- My officers will now be working 7 days a week; re-emphasizing our commitment towards citizens during this pandemic.
- If any of my team members at NMMC, be it contractual or regular employee, get affected by Covid-19 and require time off for treatment, the same will be considered as period on duty and will be paid in full.
- A 40,000 strong Miyawaki plantation is coming up at Nisarga Udyan in Navi Mumbai. All indigenous species, which will complement the local ecosystem. This is a CSR funded project. Many such #UrbanForests have been planned in the city of gardens @AUThackeray #MaaziVasundhara
- Under Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has set up a Miyawaki plantation at Nisarg Udyan, Koparkhairane. More than 40,000 tress of almost 60 indigenous species, which were planted during January to March21, have already grown upto 15 feets @AUThackeray
- Extending lockdown in 42 hotspots of NMMC area till 31st July midnight. In rest of the areas, shops will work on odd-even scheme except malls which will remain closed. Self discipline and Social Distancing are the key to overcome this crisis and i look forward to your support.
- From today, we are launching “Mission Break the Chain". My aim is to initially focus on hotspots through robust surveillance & screening and then move on to rest of the city. Extensive surveys of all hotspot areas will be carried out during lockdown period till 31st July.

- I paid a surprise visit to Vashi GH yesterday to take an account of ground level situation. While doctors there are doing so many things to save critical patients, many more areas need improvement.Gave instructions to do Antigen tests of all patients reporting to fever OPD. (1/2)

- Today NMMC entered into an MoU with Dr DY Patil Hospital. This will make available additional 200 fully equipped ICU beds and 80 ventilators. As per MoU, patients occupying these beds will not be charged anything and all charges of treatment would be borne by NMMC. 1/2
- Visited Covid Hospital, CIDCO Exhibition Center today to take measures of the ongoing progress. Priority is to increase Oxygen and ICU beds and we plan to augment the facility with 1000 Oxygen Beds and 100 ICU Beds.
