North Metro Fire sent a wildland team up to assist with the #calwoodfire in Boulder County. Overnight they assisted with triaging structures for protection and directly attacking the fire. Stay safe out there guys!

While yesterday's fire north of Broomfield destroyed a lot, one shining moment in the midst of devastation was saving these pups from the fire. As you can tell by the looks on our firefighters' faces, we treat our four-legged friends like family, too!

It's not every day you have Marine One land in your backyard. Thank you, Mr. President, for the federal support as our region recovers from the Marshall Fire. #MarshallFire

This afternoon, North Metro firefighters and Thornton firefighters rescued two dogs from Nott Lake in Thornton. The owner attempted a rescue but fell through the ice. Luckily he was able to get out on his own. Both dogs were rescued by firefighters and are home and doing well.

We are happy to welcome our new fire engine to Station 65, adjoining Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. Our old engine was retired after 14 dedicated years of service and will now be used as a reserve engine. We're excited to put this new engine to work serving our community.
