    First snow of the season in northern New Mexico! Difficult driving conditions are reported 25 miles west of Tres Piedras. Roads are snow packed and icy. Crews are salting and sanding. Please use caution and check NMroads or call 511 for the latest road conditions. #NMDOTcares

    WARNING! San Augustine Pass on US 70 is CLOSED. Detours are on US 54 and US 380. Overnight storms in southern New Mexico caused flooding and mud slides on various roadways. Use caution. Do not drive around barricades. Crews are clearing the roadway. #NMDOTcares #FloodingSafety

    ROAD ADVISORY Severe Driving Conditions in Las Cruces US 70 at milepost 160 (Organ Pass). Please drive with caution, reduce speed. The road is now open. The NMDOT is out plowing and will continue to monitor roadways. Updates as conditions change. #NMDOTcares

    There is heavy flooding on Interstate 10, around milepost 68, west of Deming. Use caution in the area as water is running over the interstate and leaving behind debris. NMDOT is clearing roadway at this time. #NMDOTcares
