    NIU COVID19 Update: Spring Break is extended thru 3/22. The campus–including residence halls & dining facilities–will remain open. On 3/23 NIU will replace face-to-face instruction with alternative methods for two weeks thru 4/4. For more info visit niu.edu/updates.

    Due to freezing rain and snow, NIU will delay the opening of its main campus in DeKalb until noon on Wed., Jan. 23. NIU classes at satellite locations will operate on their normal schedules.

    ❄️UPDATE: NIU’s DeKalb Campus will remain closed and all DeKalb classes are canceled for Mon., Nov. 26. NIU plans to resume a regular class schedule for Tues., Nov. 27. NIU classes at Hoffman Estates & Naperville are scheduled as planned. NIU classes at Rockford are canceled.
