As a huge fan and avid reader of Batman comics, I 100% agree with Zack here. Challenging and exploring a character โ disrespecting the brand of DC. Itโs people like this user here that drive people away from comics and comic related media.
The animation was beautiful. But the story and ESPECIALLY what they did to Zurg was just uninspired and atrocious. Went right home afterwards and watched the โBuzz Lightyear of Star Commandโ movie to cleanse the pallet haha
So many of you ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to understand this movie and it shows. From circular arguments to blatantly accusing Snyder for creating an "evil Pa Kent" to "Not a hopeful Superman"... honestly, WHAT MOVIE ARE YOU WATCHING?? This movie has so much heart, and a very interesting
Warner Bros. insiders have reportedly "lamented that #ZackSnydersJusticeLeague never should've happened" given how its release further divided the Snyderverse fanbase against the studio... Details: thedirect.com/article/warnerโฆ
When will WB and viewers in general get the point that BATMAN ABSOLUTELY HAS MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AND PTSD?? It's literally at the core of the character
#DC tea:
WB concerned about #TheBatman not just for being dark but Bruce has mental health issues.
I personally like this, but does show Geoff Johns was still pushing scripts to follow his comics (Batman Earth One, which was excellent)
Also follows some of Scott Snyderโs work.
Just rewatched man of steel again. Enjoy Christopher Reeve all you want (as I also do) but those who call MoS a bad movie or a bad Superman movie are delirious....I said what I said.
Hereโs my last take on this. Batman at the end of the day, as a character, is just a man. Heโs trained himself to be the best physically and mentally, yes, but still a man. And humans have ideals they hold dear & fall short of all the time. So why canโt Batman be the same?
Zack Snyder says that DC enforcing Batman's no-kill rule makes the character irrelevant.
"You're protecting your god in a weird way, right? You're making your god irrelevant if he can't be in that situation. He has to now deal with that. If he does do that what does that mean?
I'm sorry, are we seriously that quick to forget we should've got more of THIS??? But "yAy MiChAeL kEaToN" I guess. No matter how much I like Keatons' Batman movies, WE WERE GONNA GET DARKSEID INVADING EARTH!! But nOoOoOo. Have some Hamadaverse instead ๐ #RestoreTheSnyderVerse
