- Frank Seravalli noting the NHL schedule is coming out July 14-16 range
- Paraphrasing, but Friedman on his podcast today said teams are scared away from making offer sheets because you need to include your 2026 first rounders as compensation in many cases; the 2026 draft has some can't-miss prospects in it
- Arbitration hearing dates according to PuckPedia: Arvid Soderblom (Blackhawks) - July 28 Maksim Tsyplakov (Islanders) - July 29 Dylan Samberg (Jets) - July 30 Conor Timmins (Sabres) - August 2 Nicholas Robertson (Maple Leafs) - August 3 Jayden Struble (Canadiens) - August 3
- Rishaug said on July 1st that a late July early August McDavid extension was possible. Haven't been a ton of reports, seems like two sides are keeping it quiet. - Frank Seravalli: On the July 2022 Tkachuk-Huberdeau & Weegar trade: It was down to the wire between Florida and Carolina, I think there were varying points throughout that day that the Hurricanes thought they might be able to get it done with Tkachuk - Bleacher Report (7/22)
- Some different reports today on Marco Rossi, with James Murphy reporting he's heard the Canucks and Kraken have shown interest, while Michael Russo reporting the two sides are closing in on a bridge deal. Both reports may be true; either way looks like we're getting close
- Still a lot of things that could go down this summer after free agency settles down. Bo Byram, Marco Rossi, Erik Karlsson, Rasmus Andersson, Bryan Rust, Jordan Kyrou and JG Pageau are just a handful of names that could still be moved at some point.
- I thought the NHL offseason was supposed to be quiet by now. Still a lot of buzz on the free agent and trade market.
- Viktor Olofsson still being available is an interesting one. I thought Vegas was rumoured to be keeping him. Maybe they still do.
- There is absolutely nothing going on in the NHL right now. Nothing

- Samberg and Robertson are the only two that remain on the arbitration schedule.
