- New Hampshire House repostedToday, I signed 63 enrolled bills. Before legislation reaches the Governor's desk, it must complete the enrollment process, where the final text is reviewed and certified to ensure it accurately reflects what was approved by both chambers.
- America 250: Josiah Bartlett New Hampshire’s Josiah Bartlett was the first delegate to vote for independence on July 4, 1776, and the second signer of the Declaration of Independence. He later became the Granite State’s first governor under its new constitution.
- New Hampshire House repostedToday is the last regular session of the 169th NH legislature. On display in the back of the chamber is one of 31 surviving official facsimiles of the Declaration of Independence. They were made based on the original in 1824, with the master engraving taking over 3 years.
- Rep. Henry Giasson rolled into session today on his 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special. His bike has seen more of North America than most people, from Canada to Alaska, to the Arctic Ocean, touching a glacier along the way, then south through Death Valley and into Mexico.
- Last night, Deputy Speaker Steven Smith was honored with the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award by the National Eagle Scout Association and the New Hampshire Council. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your continued service to New Hampshire!

- OUR NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE HOUSE TURNS 207! On June 2, 1819, the New Hampshire State House opened its doors in Concord. Now, 207 years later, it remains the home of the nation’s largest state legislative body and a lasting symbol of New Hampshire’s history and citizen government.
- Recently, Representative Michael Moffett spoke at the Derry Rotary Club's annual Veteran Recognition Event, honoring more than 300 veterans and their families. Thank you to all who have served.
- Today, Speaker Packard joined HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., legislators, advocates, and public health leaders at the State House for an announcement on Lyme disease awareness and prevention efforts.
