- In 2004, Sylvester Croom was hired by @HailStateFB to become their 31st HC in program history. This made Croom the first Black HC in the @SEC. He went on in 2007 to become SEC Coach of the year. #BHM #JoinTheCoalition #PreparePromoteProduce #CFB
- In 1981, Dennis Green was named the 25th HC of Northwestern (@NUFBFamily). This made him the first Black HC in the @bigten. Coach Green would go on to win Big Ten COY in his second season as HC. #BlackHistoryMonth #JoinTheCoalition #PreparePromoteProduce #CFB
