Gateway is coming together🤩 Following structural welding, the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) module will ship from Italy to Gilbert, Arizona, where @northropgrumman will outfit various components to support future @NASAArtemis missions.
Inside of a bright industrial building with a fluorescent blue floor, a massive metal cylinder with an open port where a spaceship or lunar module will one day dock is shown in its fabrication stage. The metal cylinder is built for astronauts to live and work on the Gateway space station that will one day orbit the Moon.
Inside of a bright industrial building with a fluorescent blue floor, a massive, open metal ring rests on a white metal support structure that is clearly holding it upright. Above and behind the metal ring on the right hangs a European Union flag, as this industrial facility is located in Turin, Italy. The ring is shown in its fabrication stage and is being built for the Gateway space station that will one day orbit the Moon, and where astronauts will live and work
