- Can we take the empty large hotels in Male’ and make it accommodation centers for doctors, nurses, etc as required so they don’t have to go home and risk infecting their families while at work? Probably someone must have thought about this. Anyways
- This is exactly why this country has been calling to investigate disappearances and murders and bring those perpetrators to justice. Exactly why! We are not being political when we say it needs to be done. We don’t want disappearances, murders and assassination attempts. Period.
- My family lived in various houses of Male’ City, struggling to pay rent, abused, moving from one ward to the other. Mom struggled for us. She worked for a man for accommodation who urinated on her bed. Took care of a family of a drug convict in return for accommodation.
- We, Maldivians are extremely good at talking on religion. But we are extremely bad at practicing our own religion.

- I wish we could have a weekend where traffic isn’t allowed from 4pm in Ramadan. Then we could actually line up tables on the road and break our fasts together, like this.
- My wife had two c-sections in threeyears, her spine injected both times with a long assed needle that still hurts her back when she tires. The hardest thing was having to send her back to work after 3 months after each baby was born as we needed her salary to support our family.
