"The woman who carried that baby happens to be an important part of the equation as well. She is just as important and is so much more than a vessel or an incubator. A healthy baby is not the only end goal." #FourthTrimester #PostpartumCare

Our thoughts are with the family, friends & colleagues of Dr. Adeline Fagan, an ObGyn resident in Houston, who died from #COVID19 complications over the weekend. For those who knew & loved Dr. Fagan, for all of the #HealthCareHeros, be safe & #WearAMask. bit.ly/2RMrpGY

Leave the science to scientists. Maternal-fetal medicine physicians encourage all pregnant people to get vaccinated. #COVID19 vaccines are safe in pregnancy don’t cause miscarriages & are the best way to protect pregnant people and their families from COVID19.
I have talked to multiple women who say they miscarried healthy pregnancies after taking the #COVID19 vaccine. Not only miscarriages, but also reporting blood clots and heavy & irregular periods after taking the Experimental Use Covid vaccine. Stop vaccine mandates!

Texas has one of highest rates of maternal mortality in the U.S. with significant racial disparities. Together with @DemocracyFwd we are demanding that the state stop breaking the law and release its maternal mortality and morbidity data. #ReleaseTheReport
