Good morning. First day back to work since the death of my beautiful big sister Lynn on July 5. Delivering your weather & keeping it together on air are priority one today. RIP Lynnie, the void you leave behind is unfillable. @weathernetwork

It's not goodbye but see you later, St. John's! Reporting on a #blizzard here has been on my bucket list for the 20 years I've been @weathernetwork. The storm delivered as advertised, but the hospitality, kindness & laughter exceeded all. Tough as Nails, Hearts of Gold. Thank you

A brief but special segment of a very special relationship airing on @weathernetwork this morning. Remembering Kuno the service Rottweiler. All dogs are special, and Kuno was extra special. @servicerotties

This was 3:15 this morning! My lovely wife surprised me with a birthday breakfast of bacon, eggs & presents! Candles no less! @MBM_Marketing

It is every way inconceivable, and positively impossible not too fall in love with #NewfoundlandLabrador. I will NEVER forget this visit. There's been no shortage of kindness & laughs! And a special shout out to my cameraman @Seetvdocs who was in the thick of it all the way too.

Lake Ontario is angry! Massive swells and this video is not doing it justice of the #seiche, intense winds, stinging ice pellets/freezing spray and snow! @weathernetwork #onstorm #BurlOn

Found our rental car. No joke, ours is the one closest to lens, the tiny sliver of chrome...Yep. Lots of people in the same boat. State of Emergency continues. @weathernetwork #nlwx

I cut my aunt's grass every summer - she is now 87. So today I come over and she has an appt. She won't be here and what does she do...makes sure I have a cold drink and a lunch waiting for me! This is old school class & kindness. Thanks Lil!!

Projected peak fury. By early Saturday am, wind #gusts on land, especially over exposed areas closer to #Fiona's centre, could approach 150 km/hr with gusts just off shore Cape Breton exceeding 175 km/hr. This coincides with #high #tide for many areas too. Be safe, stay home.

Current models still have super typhoon #Hagibis impacting Japan's main island this weekend. Currently this storm is at its strongest so far, with sustained winds near 260 km/hr & wind gusts close to 315 km/hr. It won't be as strong by the weekend, but still formidable & damaging

Thinking about my dad while cutting the grass and something told me to look upwards. Beautiful #ZenithArc. The "smile in the sky". Hi Dad!

In my 22 years here at @weathernetwork, it never ceases to amaze me that the nastier Mother Nature gets, the kinder people become to help out others.
Saw incredible grit in Abbotsford today, as farmers and community members rallied to rescue dozens of cattle stranded by #bcflood with boats, dinghies, a jet ski and even a hover craft. Heard these scenes were playing out across the valley. Photographed for @reuterspictures:

#Tsunami warning issued in the wake of Magnitude 7.5 earthquake near #Papua, New Guinea. This is one of the world's most active subduction zones as the Australian plate converges with & moves beneath the Pacific plate. Shallower earthquake (10 km deep) increases tsunami risk
