    My parents are home schooling my nephews as part of my sister’s support bubble. Today my dad taught the 10yr old to silversmith and he made these earrings for his mum. It’s not a video and it doesn’t count as part of his 4hrs but I’d say that’s pretty powerful home learning.

    Proud to say that from September I’ll be Deputy Head at a brilliant, large, and diverse, local community school. It’s also the week my clever and funny daughter turns 1. Not a bad way to celebrate #IWD2022 🤗

    Man, I am POOPED! Shout out to everyone working full time in a school, but particularly those seeking to protect the most vulnerable, worrying for kids in chaotic environments, working in areas of high mobility, and striving to keep getting better. Raising a glass to you all 🍷

    In summary: on the day @educationgovuk encouraged schools to close, school leaders have discovered via the media that before schools return they need to: a) design, administer and implement daily covid testing for pupils and staff

    My 7yr old nephew has just told me about his ‘Secret Spy Training’ at school. He had to complete challenges and quizzes to unlock his reward at the end of the week. Took me 5mins to realises he was discussing SATs. 🕵️‍♂️ Nice work @HolbrookPrimary 👏👏👏
