I wrote about the loss of our sons, and it was included in a book that released today, Our Only Time. The book is a must read for any health prof. guiding a family through the loss of a pregnancy or child. Please read my post to learn more about our story or to purchase the book.

After my son, Josiah, died, I was sent this by a friend. It helped me make it through the darkest times. I hope it might be a comfort to you, Chrissy, or anyone else who might need it.

I made the same drive in 2015 and 2017 and I understand how devastating and unreal it can be. I’m so sorry for your pain. It’s a truly horrible loss.

    1. Got pregnant 2. Stayed pregnant 3. Had a baby This might seem silly to some, but after 4 early miscarriages, the deaths of 2 sons, and 7 years of trying, all three are huge accomplishments that took a lot of work and courage. I’m damn proud of them.

Good news: I’m out! Better news: My surgeon was unexpectedly able to remove the entire mass, including what had grown down my throat. Now we wait to find out what it is. Soft tissue, which is a good sign. Best news: Can’t really talk for a week or two, so kids need to ask dad.😂

We could use any positive thoughts you have to spare for our youngest, who has tested positive for Covid. Many of you know our story, our losses, what it took to bring her home, and the health challenges she faces. We're hoping for a mild illness and a swift return to health.

I've seen a few "sex is great, but have you drafted/picked up/had a player xyz" tweets and I'm worried about the mediocre sex some of you are having.

An ESPN/NBA journalist, Royce Young, had a horrific comment made in response to a tweet of his. I'm not going to share the thread, but I will share this moving piece he wrote about his daughter Eva & the amazing difference she made with her short life.

I’ve lost as many followers today, talking about mental health, as I have the last time I talked about sex. Two things that many people find taboo and carry a lot of shame over. Which is why I talk about them. If I can help someone by being open, that’s all that matters.

Baby is doing much better! Fever finally broke on Saturday. Tylenol, ibuprofen, anti-nausea meds, regular breathing treatments, and the iPad have done wonders. Her energy levels are improving too. It’s hard being 3 & cooped up, but we’ve kept her entertained as much as possible.
