Thursday was my first full show since the surgery. It was strenuous but I didn't bungle any tricks. Last night was I was relaxed and happy and did everything right again. Tonight is the 30th anniversary of our first run in Vegas. I'm celebrating by doing a show.

Progress. Everything is still strenuous, but day by day…

Hello, all you kind friends and fans, concerned about my quadruple bypass surgery. I am now lucid enough to give you the latest updates. I'm at a great rehab hospital, walking around, up stairs, taking showers and getting into car seats. Feeling better every day.

Trust me. Under the mask I’m smiling as I wait in line for my COVID-19 vaccination. Not only was everyone in line patient, but the military folks running the operation were polite, good- humored, and caring. It filled me with joy and hope.

Hi, friends, and happy Thanksgiving. I’m using my steep driveway to build cardio stamina. Even coming to the crest of the hill, my pulse rate doesn’t break out of the 90s. It’s amazing how much I’m beginning to feel like myself again.

Friends just sent me this image from last night's "The Simpsons." So funny and flattering. I hope if that shop carries our magic kit...@pennjillette

There’s a lovely courtyard attached to my hospital room, and I spent several hours out there basking in the sun. It was a nice reward after spending several hours in very heavy therapy. My movement is improving day by day, and the therapists here are brilliant.

I've kind of got chills going up my spine. A longstanding fan named his son Teller. He's now 11 and I met him with his dad for the first time after the show tonight. What a total honor and joy. Now I have to live up to my name. Here we are: Teller and Teller.

Feeling massively better thanks to time, great nursing, and magic. I brought an old magic book with me. One trick required two decks of cards. Moxie Jillette brought the cards. We struggled and failed until we could finally both do the trick. Now I do it for every doctor.

At the end of my long surgical journey, exactly one week from tonight, I'll be back where I belong, side by side with @pennjillette on the stage of @RioVegas, thanks to our hosts @CaesarsEnt.

Surgery all done. Went perfectly. I’m groggy but happy. Penn is here and and gave me a beautiful watch, sweetly inscribed. Glenn, too and Laura. Hurray!
