- A ban on wearing political uniforms has existed in Britain since the 1936 Public Order Act. It was more recently used against Jayda Fransen and Paul Golding of Britain First in 2016. Will the law be upheld in the case of #BLM marchers?
- The BBC has today published an article 'Eid celebration can be lonely for Muslim reverts.' bbc.com/news/articles/… The term revert will be unknown to most. Why is the national broadcaster using such a loaded term without quote, qualification or detailed explanation? The

- We do not need the government setting rules on what we can say about religion:

- If there's one thing the British are rubbish at, it's racism. After Stormzy's dad did a runner, our welfare state helped bring him up. It may not have been perfect, but it was better than what was on offer in Ghana.
- In any assessment of Hashem Abedi, never forget. The UK took in the Abedi family as refugees, that they prospered in Manchester, enjoying political and religious freedom. Our reward - the Manchester Arena bombing, and a succession of other incidents.
- There is a strong case for closing BBC Arabic. We are spending licence fee payers money on an organisation that appears to be rotten.
- I know nothing should surprise us about immigration and Britain in recent years, but note Habibur Masum was here on a student visa to do a Masters degree, brought his wife to the UK, murdered her, and needed a Bengali translator at his trial:
- I checked hoping @RupertLowe10 may be in error here, but sadly he is not - the positions are advertised online here: environmentagencycareers.co.uk/internships-2/I have written to the Chair of the Environment Agency, asking why the organisation is prohibiting white boys and girls from applying for a summer internship programme with 40 jobs. The @EnvAgency must urgently correct course, and allow applications from people of ALL colours.
