i cannot believe how difficult it was to get to get here,

Just a reminder that the issue isn't "Nobody is writing original musicals anymore." There are plenty of original musicals being written. The issue is that very few of them are produced.
I just cannot believe that we will make it through an off-Broadway run AND a Broadway run of @BeMoreChill without @georgesalazar singing "Michael in the Bathroom" on one stinkin' late night talk show. (Sigh.)
Since the shutdown of Broadway, I’ve been wanting to see what New York’s theater district looked like without any shows running, so last night I put on a mask and took a socially distant walk around.
If I have to read 1 more appallingly-researched piece pissing on @BeMoreChill & [all the other teen-centric musicals that people always talk about] that condescends to young theater fans & boils it down to "young people like these shows because they are stupid" I'm gonna scream.
i had to change a line in the script of the last musical i worked on because we couldn't afford to buy a lemon ice to use as a prop every night of our 4-week run

On behalf of theater geeks everywhere, I salute you @jamescorden!
Thanks for the shoutout and kind words. You are a stand-up gent. Next time you’re in town come catch @BeMoreChill !!!
Our song ‘James In The Bathroom’ is a parody of an incredible Joe Iconis song from the musical @BeMoreChill it’s my favourite song of the season and here is the original. m.youtube.com/watch?v=WaMRF8…
Sending all my💕to the whole crew at @ThePromMusical. A real, original musical made by people who love musicals. Broadway needs more of that. Congrats on touching so many lives. Hail hail.
call me crazy, but i really enjoy when actors in musicals have personalities and don't look and sound like complete robots and can act and sing and make choices
