I've been drawing this 2D animation a little bit every day for the past few months, let me know what you think!

The actor who played Burnett Stone in #TATMRParody, my Grandpa Kes, passed away peacefully after an ongoing battle with dementia on Christmas Eve this year. He really was the funniest, smartest dude. I'm SO lucky I had an excuse to spend all that time with him filming the Parody.

I'm so pumped that @FlyingPringle, @wrreviews, @wilburpyt, @ericpierre53, and everyone else who made Project Tiger Moth possible finally got to share this TTTE love letter with those it was written for yesterday. Here's a thread of my BTS pics when I shot my TWR "rough draft".

Hate to break it to ya, but you've been living a lie. This is probably the most convincing #TATMRParody shot I edited on my own without help from my more knowledgeable VFX crew. Due to the dark winter lighting conditions, it took me 18 hrs to clean up the 2 secs of footage.

I think it's been long enough now for me to discuss the appearance of Brian O' Connor as Schemer in #TATMRParody! Brian was privilege to be able to direct, he was a professional, coming up with new ideas for the scene on the fly. He even brought screen-used clip on hair curls!

#TATMRParody premiered on YouTube 2 years ago today, and honestly changed my life in ways I couldn't have anticipated. I'm still exceeding proud of the work we all put into the film, so thank you to everyone that made me feel like our years of work were worth it. I'm very lucky.

Awdry may have created Thomas, but none of us would know each other if it weren't for Britt. A fascinating enigma, she was truly one of a kind. Whether she completely understood it or not, she made an inarguably monumental impact on all our lives. Thanks for everything, Britt.

Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends is a miracle. The concept of adapting the Rev. W. Awdry's books to children's television would be an impossibility in 2021 because it seems the only profitable option is to emulate a loud 'n flashy American iPad app.

So uh, hi guys. My name's Nicky. "Vinnie Smith" was a name I came up with in 4th grade when I made my YouTube account. Thank you for all the wonderful comments and tweets, I'm reading every single one of them. Wow. Thank you for enjoying my first feature film, #TATMRParody

Thank you to everyone who watched and tweeted about #TATMRParody yesterday, I'm absolutely shocked and humbled by the response. In the next few months, expect an extended cut, deleted scenes, behind the scenes, commentaries, bloopers, and more!

After #TATMRParody came out, Turtles apparently “went on a date with a girl” and bragged about he was in a Thomas the Train fan film which trended on Twitter. A few weeks later, I asked him if he was still seeing that girl. He responded, “she stopped opening my messages😢”.

The evolution of the TTTE fandom is fascinating to me. For years, I felt like it was widely accepted that the HiT era was trash but now I wouldn't make that generalization. At the end of the day, most people tend to gravitate towards the Thomas they grew up with. Just a thought.
