    I would ask you all who believe in prayer to pray for Nelia Scheeres who died tragically on the N69 on Monday. She was on her first day of placement at a medical centre & heading home for lunch. She wanted placement in Kerry as she loved it.She would have made a great Doctor. RIP

    On October 13th 1983 I tasted my last drop of alcohol, fell out the door of a pub a broken young man. Today I celebrate 38 yrs without alcohol or 13,880 days. Note I didn’t say sober. Two lads who drank with me that night are dead, they never got the message. I was lucky tbh 1/2

    The tragic death of a UL medical student gets even more tragic - she was on her first day of placement in a Kerry Medical Centre and probably first day on the road where she lost her life. A friend left a bunch of flowers and we said a few prayers💔💔💔pray for her family.

    Ok the news is good from my Doc - I have managed to reverse Type 2 Diabetes-I have lost 21 Kilos since June and now 15st or 97 kilos - I was 118kgs on June 9th - I also was taking Blood Pressure tab but now my Bp is normal so off those tabs after 9 years - proves it can be done👍🏻

    I cannot believe how a hospital discharged an 83 year old man who can barely walk - with no transport - lives alone - and had to pay €150 for a taxi to get home. He needs a carer etc but nothing is arranged 🤷‍♂️- yet we are housing half of Europe 🙄

    There is a far more serious killer stalking our country right now and it’s not Covid or Influenza- it’s suicide- in a rural area of North Kerry in the last 6 weeks / I personally know of six people who have taken their own lives I would like this to be discussed openly #Suicides

    A beautiful young boy Jack De Bromhead pictured here by ⁦@BarryDonal⁩ 7 days ago in Cahersiveen after winning a pony race💔💔 6 days later he loses his life on Rossbeigh Beach doing what he loved best😢His Dad Henry was in Cahersiveen and gave a beautiful interview RIP Jack

    I got the message. I thank my family for not abandoning me. Recovery is a lifelong journey emphasis on the word journey. There’s no way to skip ahead; you just have to stay in the moment, take it step by step. Acceptance is the key as is never quitting. I am grateful today🙏

    This evening will be special for one Kerry player who will be wearing no 5 Paudie O Leary from @Gneeveguillagaa -he lost his dad Paud when only 9 -victim of a hit & run while out cycling in preparation for Ring Of Kerry Cycle - he will be looking down fondly on his boy tonight 😢

    For 35 years of my life I was involved in grassroots soccer in Kerry and this is my greatest night and to be honest I never thought I would live to see the day - so many who worked with me have passed including the great Padraig Harnett / hope you are looking down buddy @KerryFC
