    MISD is aware that LCHS Principal Eaton has been hospitalized. He's been tested for COVID-19 but has not received test results at this time. Mr. Eaton’s last contact with the LCHS community was on 3/6 @ the regional BB game. Thoughts & prayers w/ Mr. Eaton & family at this time.

    Due to the impending inclement weather conditions and the concern for the safety of our students and staff, MISD will be closing all campuses and departments, Friday, May 10. This includes all extracurricular school activities. Students will not have to make up the absence.

    MISD has named Gifford Whitehead the new Principal of @oakhillslions for the 2022-23 school year. Whitehead opened OHJH as the AP in 2017 and spent the 2021-2022 school year as the AP of @LakeCreekHS. Read the full story here: misd.blog/2022/05/06/gif…

    We're excited to announce that Candyce Carter has been named the Head Coach of @LakeCreek_SB! Prior to joining the LCHS softball coaching staff in 2022, Coach Carter led a nationally ranked softball program in Louisiana for five years and won a state championship in 2021.
