Vitello coached the @DeSmetSoccer for 46 years, and his teams won five state championships (1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2011). They also had four other Final Four finishes – a state runner-up in 1992, a third-place finish in 2008, and two fourth-place finishes in 2001 and 2002.
