- Marking Paper 1’s Q3 structure question. I never EVER want to read the words, ‘it makes the reader want to read on’ again. 😭😢😓

- From introducing the ‘thesis statement’ in Y7, to a 4-page AIC essay in Y10. Watching Y10 confidently write (non-stop!) for their full lesson was a JOY.👌🧵 Writing Stamina 🧵 Our KS3 curriculum spiral curriculum model means we have taught writing structures from word --> sentence --> paragraph level. We focused on mastery, rather than throwing students into extended essay writing too soon. Some of the concerns others had was /1
- ‘How does Shakespeare present Romeo’s shifting attitudes towards love?’ Look at 7A’s whiteboards to see words such as ‘impulsive’, ‘superficial’, ‘unrequited’ and ‘infatuated’. A JOY! 💜⭐️
- From answering the question in the booklet to an extended answer with feedback in mind. Absolutely stunning. 💜🐝BEAUTIFUL analysis of Shelley’s use of extended metaphor from Y9 today. Every single answer was of this quality. ✅💜
- After-work jogging is much better when the scenery looks like this. 🌿🏃🏼♀️
