- Kirk Cousins career record against winning teams: 4-25. 🤦🏼♂️
- Sixers in 5 Nets in 4 Bucks in 7 Hawks in 7 Nuggets in 7 Lakers in 5 Clippers in 6 Jazz in 6
- * @KingJames had 23P on 9 of 20 FG’s, 6A, 5R, 1S and 2B, and was -1. Kawhi had 30P on 11 of 18 FG’s, 7R, 4A, 2S and 7 of his 8 3’s in 1st half, and was -5. LeBron ran the show and made the plays down the stretch. He’d have gotten my MVP vote, even without the Kobe/Lakers factor.
- Here's dad Mychal Thompson watching his son Klay drop an NBA record 37 points in one quarter on the LAL team plane:
- Brandon Ingram after the All-Star break last year (6 games): 27.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.5 apg. Ingram this season (11 games): 25.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 4.1 apg. He started being aggressive, playing his own game last February, then he got hurt. Healthy again, this isn’t a surprise.
- Amazing block from Giannis, no doubt, and not sure anybody else - except Anthony Davis - could do it. But I’ll vote LeBron’s block on Iguodala No. 1, especially given the context."It's, in my opinion, the best block of all time." —Pat Connaughton on Giannis' block on Deandre Ayton
00:00 - Saw scouting reports about Anthony Edwards that critiqued his motor, but after watching him for a game and a half, plus the preseason, that seems like a flawed take. The kid works hard on both ends and is already imposing himself physically on vets. Utah has no matchup for him.
- Klay will bounce back 100%. Awful and sad to see the news ... But he’ll attack his rehab like he attacks everything and come back stronger. @champagnennuts
- Can’t imagine how it feels for the families of 210,000+ people that have died from COVID-19 in the USA to hear “don’t be afraid.” How many others haven’t seen their parents, grandparents, friends? How many jobs lost? How many kids in school on Zoom? What more will it take?
- That J.R. play has to go down as one of the worst plays in NBA history. Can’t think of a worse one given the stakes right now.
