- The amount of people counting out Francis Ngannou is astounding to me.
- I'm still actually stunned about the Bryce Mitchell vs. Kron Gracie fight announcement. I'm more stunned having realized that's currently on the UFC 310 main card over Sterling vs. Evloev — a fight that has significant impact in the division's title conversation.

- Ilia Topuria is the Fighter of the Year. Respect to Pereira and the year he’s had, but what Topuria has done in 2024 is one of the most impressive two-fight stretches I’ve ever seen in the sport.
- Just spoke briefly with Shane Burgos. He said he's awaiting a cat scan at the ER but he's "all good." "I remember everything it was just a weird feeling that shut my legs off slowly. I'm 100% safe, healthy, coherent and remember it all."
- I understand people being upset about the judging — as I am about that 50-45 card. But Keith Peterson was absolutely terrible in this fight. How do you not take a point after a ball kick, then another he missed, then a headbutt after the bell, and another ball kick? Insane.50-45 is one of the worst cards of 2025.
- Unfortunate news: Dan Hooker is out of his #UFC285 matchup with Jalin Turner after suffering a broken hand, per sources. Turner is expected to remain on the card, but no opponent at the moment.
