- A year ago today my wife got the call she had breast cancer. Thanks to finding it early & great doctors/nurses her cancer is out and her arrow is pointing up. We’re turning tonight into a celebration. And hopeful if you see or feel something weird on you, go get checked
- Had to work til past midnight last night. Came home to find this
- Illinois wins over S Carolina. A supremely depleted Michigan roster takes down Bama. USC beat A&M. Ohio State destroyed Tennessee. The only Big Ten loss to the SEC this bowl season was a 3point Iowa loss to Mizzou. These are just facts.
- Became a Dad to my first daughter this weekend. Her name is Harper- you’d like her. I do. It’s only been a handful of hours but let me tell ya... daughters are pretty cool. (So are nurses. And doctors. And holy cow: wives!!!)
- Luka Garza was the #118 recruit in the class of 2017. Goes to @IowaHoops. National Player of the Year. Keegan Murray was the #334 recruit in the class of 2020. Goes to Iowa. Possible/(should be?) National Player of the year this year. CAN WE TALK ABOUT FRAN MCCAFFERY?!?!
- Only 6 times in Ohio State history has a QB thrown for 400 yards in one game. Now 5 of those 6 have come from Dwayne Haskins this season
- I don’t wanna beat a dead horse. But. Maybe when Notre Dame beat Indiana in South Bend it was not because Indiana didn’t belong but rather…. Notre Dame is good??

- Just interviewed Urban Meyer. At one point talked about this year doing tv, he says "I had fun - turns out folks wanna talk about football, they don't want to see jumpin' in lakes or goin on rollercoasters" ... ...I feel I may know what he was alluding to. The man is competitive.
- The Big Ten is 7-0 in bowl games. 3-0 in New Years Six bowl games. (And the committee decided the league’s champion didn’t belong in the playoff. Still hard to fathom)
