- Who’s the most inspirational fighter to me ? @DustinPoirier I’ve done camps with him, traveled the world with him, fought and won in the same cage, saw how he is out of the cage. How grateful he is for his family, how he handles day to day life, I look up to him. Good man!

- I had just fought at 145lbs 3 WEEKS prior to accepting this fight on 5 day notice against Gilbert, who is the #1 contender in the 170lb division(Two weight classes above me) and was too much for him on the feet. Put some respect on my name🙄 no one else would take that fight
