Immigration enforcement is a critical component of our national security. Democrats’ refusal to fund law enforcement at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security resulted in a record-long government shutdown and uncertainty for the men and women who work tirelessly to protect the American people. I voted today to fully fund these critical agencies through the end of the President’s term to ensure we continue to secure our border and enforce the law.
