- The Falcons are now #2 in the NFL in total defense, #4 in scoring defense, #2 in passing defense, #5 in sacks and tied for #1 in takeaways after tonight’s game.
- By any statistical measure, Matt Ryan was the greatest Falcon of all time. This is truly the end of an era in Atlanta sports.
- The Hawks are staying over in Philadelphia tonight and will fly to Milwaukee tomorrow. Nate McMillan wanted it this way because he did not want his players to pack to go home before a Game Seven. He wanted them to pack for the Conference Finals tomorrow.
- This was the greatest season in Atlanta Hawks history. No NBA team in this city got this close to the Finals. They have absolutely nothing to hang their heads over.
- Joe Buck has an NFL assignment and won’t call Game 7 tomorrow. Dodgers/Fox announcer Joe Davis will substitute.
- If you are a Braves-UGA-Atlanta United fan, four championships in five years is pretty awesome.
