    My parents don’t even know what Twitter is so they won’t see this, but please keep my Dad in your prayers. He takes care of my Mom as her Alzheimer’s gets worse and worse. It’s a terrible disease and tough on loved ones. Let’s find a cure. John 8:12

    The last time Texas played LSU, Nick Saban was the LSU head coach. Jimbo Fisher was LSU offensive coordinator. Will Muschamp was LSU defensive coordinator. Texas won 35-20.

    Sad news that Jeff Ontiveros has died. He was a star for the Round Rock Dragons and then helped UT win the 2002 National Championship in Omaha when he became the first Longhorn to hit 20 HR in a season. RIP.

    Just got the sad news that my friend Ron Franklin has passed away. If you’re a sports fan, you knew Ron Franklin and his amazing voice. Incredibly talented and knowledgeable and very nice and gracious. RIP. 🙏🏻✝️❤️

    Bowl game attendance so far: 12K, 18K, 18K, 23K, 16K, 34K, 21K, 28K, 21K, 33K, 34K, 24K, 36K. Terrible. Then the Aggies and Cowboys showed up in Houston and got 68,415.

    Wow. I don’t know what to say! Seven months since I lost my job. Seven months since I was on TV. But the Austin Chronicle names me Best of Austin again. That’s 17 times and 11 years in a row. A reminder of what the people in Austin mean to me & confirmation that HE HAS PLANS!!
