- Cheney's closing is stunning: they think they have evidence of witness tampering and obstruction of justice. There is an old maxim: it's never the crime, it's always the coverup. Things went very badly for the former President today. My guess is that it will get worse from here
- I never heard the President disparage our war dead or wounded. In fact, the exact opposite is true. I was with him at the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion in Normandy....
- My guess is that before this is over, we will be hearing testimony from Ornato, Engle, and Meadows. This is explosive stuff. If Cassidy is making this up, they will need to say that. If she isn't they will have to corroborate. I know her. I don't think she is lying.
- Trump's inner circle at the end was...Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, Peter Navarro... Garbage in. Garbage out.
- When people ask me what I've been up to since I left DC, I tell them I've gone into health care. That's because for the last several months I've been a full time care giver for my dad. He passed Friday from lung cancer. Best job I ever had. He will be sorely missed.
- Since the media has aready picked the next President, I doubt anyone cares that the President is now within 14,746 votes in AZ. At the current %, if there are 127,364+ ballots still out, he wins AZ.
- A stunning 2 hours: 1)Trump knew the protesters had guns 2)He assaulted his own security team 3)There may be a line from ProudBoys to the WH 4)Top aides asked for pardons 5)The commission thinks they have evidence of witness tampering. That is a very, very bad day for Trump.
- Finally got through the NY AG complaint against Trump. Let me get this straight: the AG is suing him for fraud... when he borrowed money...and then paid it back? Seriously, who is the victim here? If the banks thought they had been defrauded, they could sue on their own.
- It appears this raid was, in fact, just about documents. As even some on the left have opined: that is simply outrageous.
- That video was stunning...and more powerful than anything Bennie or Liz said.
- The President's tweet is not enough. He can stop this now and needs to do exactly that. Tell these folks to go home.
- Trump midterms: "232 wins and 22 losses." The losses included Senate races in PA, AZ, NV, and NH. And governors in AZ, PA, and MI. Wins included dog catcher in Pahrump, AZ. Not the same thing. And people know it.
