Really cool task our AI agent is learning. Targeted weed spraying is a great application for robots. We can drastically reduce the amount of herbicide used in a parks and community spaces!

Just tried FSD v12 ... it is legit incredible. It pretty much validates end2end approaches. The fact they can just weight update and get this performance across a mass produced fleet speaks volume to the level of foresight at the the company.

Working on a procedural simulator for homes ... it's nuts how much complexity is in an everyday house. True home clutter is a hard distribution to model...feels like an exciting topic to study.

Humanoids are cool, but I feel like we are over-hyping some basic research. Doing isolated manipulation of objects in lab like settings is not new (even done autonomously w/ ML) AI robots in the real world working daily w/ no supervision is the true moat.

At Electric Sheep we strongly rely on simulation to pre-train our foundation model, ES-1. Synthetic data allows us to ship our robots to anywhere in the country, so they can immediately start working on crews.

Tech dive into Verdie hardware👇 @sheeprobotics latest robot for outdoor maintenance. We are going for simple but general robot. Verdie is an articulated 2-wheel platform. This enables both low-cost (<5k) and 6-DOF motion, which is needed for scalable tool-using robots.

The impact AI will have on robot UX is huge ... we are building products @sheeprobotics that have zero app or teaching requirement. Robots should have "common sense" and work out of the box.
