    Yesterday, I had the honour to attend the Bharat Mata Mandir and meet His Holiness Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj and listen to his words of wisdom, preaching world peace. Thank you to Jeff Lal and the community for your warm welcome and inspiring afternoon.

    Any attempt to spin my comments this morning, is petty partisan politics. I am proud to support our police, and I will continue to work with communities and front line officers to make sure our neighbourhoods are safe.

    Conservative minister Michael Tibollo's comment this morning about wearing a bulletproof vest at Jane and Finch is inexcusably racist. Anyone who would say something so divisive has no credibility to continue to oversee Ontario's Anti-Racism Directorate. #onpoli

    FILL UP! Today's the last day to fill up your gas tank before the federal carbon tax makes life more expensive for all of us. Starting April 1st, gas will go up almost 4.5¢ /L, which will grow to 11¢ /L by 2022. We'll keep fighting to stop this terrible tax!
